Jumping Salmon
Lodge is Native Owned and Operated by John Lunetta and Doreen Schenkenberger,
both Coast Guard Certified and Licensed Captains. John came to Alaska
10 years ago after retiring from the Indiana State Police and has been
fishing Prince William Sound ever since. John is also a Private Pilot
as well as an avid outdoorsman and environmentalist. Doreen is Native
Alaskan Inupiaq, born and raised in Nome Alaska. She grew up in the country,
practicing the subsistence lifestyle of her people and has been on the
water her entire life. All of our guides are U.S. Coast Guard licensed/Captains
and CPR/First Aid certified. Our Jumping Salmon Lodge staff is dedicated
to making your trip as safe and enjoyable as possible.
Our family/staff consists of outdoor enthusiasts who are dedicated to the outdoor environment. From kayaking to mountain climbing, we cherish the outdoors and pass this onto our children who spend summers here, helping with daily operations and fishing. It’s a family affair that adds richness and value to the experiences people come away with.
