Jumping Salmon Lodge Terms of Payment/Client Contract

Jumping Salmon Lodge requires a down payment of 50% of the total cost of your trip at the time of booking, which is non-refundable after 30 days of the booking date (see cancellation policy). The remainder of the balance is due 90-days prior to the starting date of your trip. All bookings after the date of April 1st are paid in full at the time of booking with us.

Due to our unique location, we can accept payment via bank wire, if you wish to make payment by bank wire; we will assist you with the information. We also except checks and you can pay for your trip online with your credit card at our website through PayPal.

 
Cancellation Policy, Travel Insurance, Weather Delays, and Client Liability

Due to our intimate size & short season of operation, any client cancellation affects us significantly. Consequently, we are forced to adhere to a strict cancellation policy. In the event of any cancellations, monies will NOT be refunded 30-days after the client booking date. However, client payments to Jumping Salmon Lodge can be applied to a future trip within 12-months of the clients booking date; or assigned to another party under the original client’s consent/permission: pending lodge scheduling and Travel Insurance payments, if applicable.

Weather Delays:

In the event, foul weather (beyond the lodge's control) delays or prevents clients from getting to and from the lodge on the day scheduled. The cost of the 1st additional day at the lodge is complementary to our clients (meals and lodging) incurred because of weather delay (additional weather delay days are charged 50% of the lodge daily rate to clients). Flight schedules or events beyond our control are the responsibility of our clients. If you are held over due to weather, and choose the option of lodge activities. Our lodge rate is 50% reduced; applicable to the Jumping Salmon Lodge daily operational schedule.

Waiver of Jumping Salmon Lodge Liability:

Jumping Salmon Lodge will not be responsible for loss of personal property, cancellations or delays due to weather, or other circumstances beyond our control. This Policy covers all Clients/Guests of Jumping Salmon Lodge. 

Jumping Salmon Lodge is not liable for dangers and risks associated with any wilderness adventure, such as hunting, fishing and any other activities offered by Jumping Salmon Lodge. Jumping Salmon Lodge is located in the Wilderness of Alaska and is a fly-in Wilderness Lodge. Risks can include, but are not limited to loss of life or injury, damage to both my person/other person’s in my party and/or property, including hazards of traveling in mountainous terrain, boating/flying accidents or illness in remote places without medical facilities, fire, theft, acts of God, or loss of equipment.
